Cosmur successfully negotiated the refurbishment of Harry Morgans restaurant in St Johns Wood High Street. Established in 1948 by Harry Morgan, a local butcher, this once tiny takeaway deli is now the largest and most famous New York Style Deli Restaurant in London.
Harry Morgans is located within an affluent area surrounded by a parade of busy retail outlets. Maintaining minimal disruption to the local businesses and members of the public was of a paramount importance in the successful delivery of this project.
This fast track refurbishment involved constructing the majority of the fit-out items off site, so that the onsite disruption was kept to a minimum. The sequence of works were carried out over three phases to ensure the trading hours of the restaurant and deli were not compromised and allowed Harry Morgans to provide a normal service to their Clientele.
Scope of works:
• Demolition/strip out.
• Rewire and new mechanical services.
• Plastering and new partitions.
• New bar.
• Tiling, shelving and a counter.
• Bespoke sign writing.
• Booths and fixtures and fitting.
• Concealed storage areas.
• Extensive mirror installations.
• Decorations throughout.
