St Johns Wood adjoins Lord’s Cricket Ground and is situated within the St. John’s Wood Conservation Area. This project entailed the demolition of a large two storey detached property to provide a contemporary high specification 5 bedroom family home, whilst retaining some of the characteristics of the original building.
Scope of works:
- Formation of a new basement
- Underpinning and retention of the front façade
- Installation of structural steel-work
- New timber sash windows and bespoke sliding glazing system
- New pitched roof and coverings – aged to provide a visual impact that the completed property had not undergone any major redevelopment
