The 222 Customer Centre was a high profile project to help transform the service delivery of Islington Council’s customer interface capabilities. The ground floor space was renovated to accommodate new drop in services, consultation areas, interview rooms, and office space.
Our approach to programming and phasing on this project was to carry out the works in the most efficient manner, causing the least impact on council staff and members of the public.
The works were phased to manage the shift needs of staff on the upper floors, whilst maintaining programme and areas of operation. The programme was subject to time pressures and required out of hours working, 24/7 delivery, and tactful site management.

- Removal/installation of partitions.
- WC area upgrades.
- Power and Data provision.
- Heating & Cooling.
- Adaptations to existing security systems.
- Fitted joinery.
- Internal decorations.
- Reworking to external façade.
