Stanborough Park Church

Whilst carrying out works at the British Union Conference Building, the Seventh Day Adventist Organisation brought forward plans for redesigning the interior space of the Stanborough Park Church to allow for a burgeoning attendance.

Extensive interior redesigning took place, with walls and a gallery knocked through as well as an entrance to the Family Room being blocked off. The North Porch was opened up, a new gallery was installed and a new Foyer Entrance made, together with a complete new doorway and stone lintels to the Entrance Door. All new windows were put in, with stone surrounds, in keeping with the rest of the building. Other works were also carried out to the external envelope and brickwork, as well as a new roof.

The end result is a much larger interior accommodating 25 percent more people whilst at the same time allowing greater levels of natural light into the structure to enhance the buildings' architecture and interior decorations.
