Abbey Court

A contract for works to an Edwardian mansion block in the famous Abbey Road, St Johns Wood, London NW8.

The contract included extensive external repairs and decorations and internal decorations to common parts of the building. All the works had to be carried out in strict keeping with the historical significance and architectural features of the building, as well as with the high specification and exceptional quality of finish. 

The contract was carried out while the owners were in full occupation throughout, so a comprehensive environmental management system had to be implemented in order to control vibrations, noise and dust.  Stringent safety systems were incorporated into the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan to protect the residents and members of the public.
