Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre Refurbishment Complete

Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure and the London Borough of Redbridge have seen the completion of the redevelopment of Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre.
 
Alliance Leisure completed a E350,000 redevelopment, which went according to plan and finished on time and on budget. The leisure centre, updated by design and build contractor Cosmur, now boasts a new two-floor 180sqm, 42-station 'state of the art' gym created by the conversion of the existing cafe with the addition of a mezzanine floor.

Existing cardiovascular and strength Life Fitness equipment at Fullwell Cross has been reused along with kit from Ilford Pools. Refurbished Life Fitness strength units from Physique, part of the PTE Group, have also been added along with a selection of free weights: dumbbells, barbells racks and benches.

Keith Newton, Managing Director of Vision RC&L said: "The new gym has been extremely well received by customers. We are meeting the membership and usage targets that we set and are very happy with the new facility at Fullwell which compliments additional major refurbishment by the London Borough of Redbridge including a luxury spa with sauna, steam and therapy rooms."
